I'm using QB Pro 2009/2010 Australian vaersion with TPI V 4.00.07.

I imported credit card charges with a column for expenses sales tax code which can be either NCF (Non Capital tax Free) or NCG (Non Capital GST), and the impoted items all have NCG in them. It worked well when I used to do the same for QB Pro 2008/2009 ant TPI V 3.XX.

Please advise.

With kind regards,

Zvi Gat

AU 2009/10 went to a different QBSDK so that is the issue.

If you can check the following box and then upload the error log that gets created in the My Documents\01 Transaction Pro Importer 4.0\

Click Options - Advanced Tab
Technical Support Troubleshooting Log File
Output all communications with QuickBooks to XML log file (use for diagnostics only)

We can then examine the XML in this log file to determine whether or not we are sending the correct XML to the QuickBooks SDK.

I did what you suggested, but there is no XML generated. Maybe it's because there is no error reported during the import - it goes fine an ends successfully, but the transactions imported have all NCG in them and are treated as having tax applied to them even if the tax code column has a NCF in it.

Hope this makes things clearer.

The file should be located in My Documents\01 Transaction Pro Importer 4.0. The file name should be Credit Card Charge Error Log.txt.
