Topic: Item Selection Form ErrorPosted: 28 May 2009 at 10:29pm |

When trying to select items I am getting the following error: Errror in frmMain: Sub cmdRetrieveTxns_Click
Line: 487 Object variable or With block variable not set (Error #91) Also It would be helpful to have a selection option for Active/Inactive that what once can remove items based on it's status. Respectfully - ingram |

Can you export and zip your item list and upload to this thread?
In QB choose file/utilities/export/lists to IIF - choose items
Zip the file
In the forum thread click POST REPLY
Click the icon that looks like a zip file

Sorry forgot to ask. What version of QuickBooks are you running? Example Pro 2008.

What would be involved in adding an filter type called 'Inactive'?
I am not sure that using ‘Date Modified’ will be as effective. For example if you have an item in inventory that is still current but has not been modified for a period of time using ‘Date Modified’ will cause the item to be removed. Also if you have an item that you want to delete/remove and you switch it ‘inactive’ the ‘Date Modified’ is updated with today’s date and as such will not get deleted. FInally is there some documentation or a post that details the selection criteria? Respectfully – ingram |

We wanted to get this fixed for you quickly. Adding new features will take more time and would be addressed in a future version.
There is a post for filtering transactions but that may not help for items. If you can post here what you would like to see we can add that to the suggested new features list.
