Did you select the same file and import it again?
There is an option to skip a transaction if it already exists. Review the options screen and the help file for more details.

That feature is not available. You will need to go to the Windows Task Manager and end the task. Note that after ending the task QuickBooks may not close properly so you may have to do the same with QuickBooks.
