If you are using QuickBooks Online Edition, here is a suggested mapping for your fields. First choose the Invoice transaction type and be sure to click options and check the box to truncate fields. You can also download this map here: (unzip after downloading) http://bscdownload.com/downloads/AutoTaskInvoiceMapQBOE.zip ![]() Please note these map files work with the default local terms and symbols settings within Autotask. If you modify any of these settings in Autotask these mappings may not be applicable. If you have difficulties mapping your file please send your Autotask export file to support at baystateconsulting.com and please indicate that this is for an Autotask export file. If you sell both products and services you may need to manipulate the Autotask export file pre-import so you can import both of these types of transactions in the same import. A sample of an excel file with these changes (@IF functions) can be downloaded from this link: uploads/1/Export_Wizard_with_at_if_formulas.zip |

When mapping, can you only map an invoice or can the information be brought in as a time entry?

You can map the fields however you wish. For a time tracking entry you need an Employee name.

Can you email sales at baystateconsulting a sample file? We will map it for you and send you back the file.
