When I try to retrieve data from the employee list I keep getting "Line 6645 Automation Error, Error# 2147220498" and then the program locks up.  Maybe I am using the wrong Starting and Ending Name format?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

1. What operating system are you using?
2. What version of QuickBooks? (country, version and year)
3. What version of the exporter - full version number on lower left

Click About/Check for Updates and make sure you are on the latest build.

If the problem persists reinstall QuickBooks.

Is there a specific format I should be following when entering the starting and ending name?

That error wouldn't be caused by your filter criteria. You could use like AAA to PZZ to pull all employees from A to P.
