As of Transaction Pro Importer 4.014 (released 6/29/2010) we support Office 2010 Excel and Access formats. We continue to support Office 2000/2003/2007 formats as well.

If you are upgrading to Office 2010 you need to do the following:

1. Install the Microsoft Database Engine.exe from our web site here: http://bscdownload.com/downloads/AccessDatabaseEngine2010.zip

2. Then update to version 4.014 or higher by clicking About/Check for Updates.

Note: This install also supports those users running Office 2000/2003/2007 versions.

Important known issues:

TPI 4.0 Will connect to Office 2010 files (Excel/Access) under the following:
64 bit OS and Office 2010 32 bit install – AccessDatabaseEngine2010.exe 32 bit install required.
64 bit OS and no Office install – AccessDatabaseEngine2010.exe 32 bit install required.
32 bit OS and Office 2010 install – AccessDatabaseEngine2010.exe 32 bit install required.

TPI 4.0 Will not connect to Office 2010 files (Excel/Access) under the following:
64 bit OS and Office 2010 64 bit install - also connection to ODBC databases will fail.
You will need to use a CSV or Tab delimited text file to do your imports.

This is because TPI is a 32 bit software program and requires a 32 bit ACEDAO.DLL which gets installed in the AccessDatabaseEngine2010.exe install. The 32 bit version of the AccessDatabaseEngine2010.exe cannot be installed on Office 2010 64 bit systems.
